Very happy to have joined the team of contributors at El País Gastro, the new section of Spain’s leading newspaper El País.

My first story (writing and photography) is about a woman I deeply admire, Marigel Álvarez, a self-made entrepreneur who saved one of Asturias’s most legendary cheeses from disappearing and who also runs a charming rural hotel in one of Asturias’ most beautiful rural settings: Redes Natural Park. Nieves Barragán interview | Gourmets

New writing work for Gourmets, an interview with renowned Spanish chef Nieves Barragán. She is a star chef in the London food scene, having made the tapas culture approachable for Londoners from Barrafina first, and now from her own restaurant, Sabor. The interview also includes a couple of my photos. The opening portrait and food shots are by photographer Chris Terry.
