Maison Premiere, located in Williamsburg, won the 2016 James Beard Foundation Award for Outstanding Bar Program. It is likely the most charming bar I have ever visited and having spent some time with the team behind that magic feels a privilege. If you go to New York, make sure you don’t miss it.

Earlier this autumn I visited Paris and I was lucky enough to have dinner with dear friends at Breizh Café. Memorable crêpes and galettes and the best immersion in Breton culture and traditions. After reading Dan Barber’s very inspiring book, The Third Plate, I knew that Blue Hill was the restaurant I really needed to go to when in NYC. And so I was lucky enough to visit last summer and of course it didn’t disappoint. Food and service were equally superb. You can see the full story now on Plate Selector.
